THE TRIAL MAY COMMENCE
KILL

SYNOPSIS
Set in classic film noir, KILL explores the fate of a 24-year-old man (Saab), struggling to be heard and understood amid a tangled web of baseless accusations. An authoritative magistrate (Kaine) and a stalwart investigator (Alice), conflate the man’s identity with his true nature. “You have quite the inclination to contest with authorities – not a very flattering trait,” Saab is told in a Kafkaesque trial that appears ambivalent to the words of the individual.
Filmmaker Quentin Guobadia’s narrative parallels modern global society and exposes the very essence of today’s public discourse.
