Adam Giannone

A native of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Giannone is a graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

Adam Giannone has appeared in short films such as KILL (2018), and Resolution (2018).

Adam is perhaps most known for his work as "Cain" in Involution (2018) which brought him to Russia and Germany for filming.

He loves cartoons, writing, and playing music, some of which can be heard on All There Is (2018) a short film written and directed by Rachel Larsen. He is currently starting a company which brings actors and filmmakers of different backgrounds together to create new work that revolves around world issues.

Samuel Shurtleff

Samuel Shurtleff – Samuel emigrated to NYC from Texas in 2012 and is happy to be working in his
second production with Onomatopoeia Theatre. Stage work: Beauty and the Beast, Annie Warbucks, Of
Mice and Men, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Deathtrap, Sordid Lives, The Foreigner. TV/film:

Helen Laser

Helen Laser is an American-born actress hailing from Montclair New Jersey. She began acting professionally at an early age, and has received training and education from Muhlenberg College (where she was nominated for the Irene Ryan Award at the Kennedy Center and graduated Cum Laude), Ithaca College, and Oxford University (where she received the class award for excellence). She has also pursued singing professionally since the age of 8. She began her film career at 15, starring in an award-winning viral PSA about kindness. The video now has over 30 million views.

Most recently, Helen has appeared on television, in various stage performances, and has had an illustrious voiceover career. Most notably, Helen can be heard as the voice of Annie's Homegrown (in addition to many other brands on television commercials and radio).

Quentin Guobadia is a Senior attending Hofstra University for Film Studies and Film Production. After finishing principal photography for KILL, his Senior Thesis Film, Quentin has chosen to shift his filmmaking career path from solely screenwriting towards pursuing directing specifically. The positive reception to his attitude towards directing and his filmmaking style is what influenced the change. And his background specifically stemming from 1950s Hollywood and the 1960s Japanese New Wave has endued him with a particular affinity towards proper filmmaking craftsmanship.

Quentin aims to encourage a renewed interest in filmmaking that respects film as a craft and is sensible to the audience's time spent experiencing a film. Quentin Guobadia implores there be endeavor to synthesize, rather than a film solely being a pursuit in expression.

Casting Director

Michaela Schaaf

Michaela Schaaf is a Senior majoring in both Film and Sociology at Hofstra University. A native to Massachusetts, she moved to New York to pursue her aspirations of a film career, with Hofstra as her gateway. By her Sophomore year, she was approached with her first opportunity to work as the Casting Director for a short film, which led to her later involvement with the multi-award-winning Kill (2019) that same year. From her work, she has built a reputation in her film department as the go-to person for casting. Her extensive portfolio most recently garnered her a position at Netflix, where she worked in their production office as a Background Casting Assistant, as well as Vanguard Management Group, where she worked in their NYC suite as a Talent Management Intern.

As a double major with Sociology, Michaela looks optimistically at the future of her career as one that promotes the advancement of diverse storytellers both in front of and behind the film camera, so as to bring novel and profound perspectives to the beloved medium.
